Updating E-Mail Addresses in your Address Book

Your address book updates new e-mail addresses only when you update it.  When we add or remove groups or employees to the system, you need to update your contact list. To be as up to date as possible, you may need to delete groups and addresses, and then add them back.

**** When deleting addresses, DO NOT delete personal addresses (people not employed by RRGSD) or you will have to put them back in manually, we do not know who they are ! ****

 

To Delete from your Address Book

 

Go to Tools

Address Book

Once in this window, you can delete by highlighted the address you don’t want and click delete.  You may choose consecutive addresses using the “shift” key or spaced addresses using the “ctrl” key

 

To Add to your Address Book

 

1.       Go to Tools

2.       Address Book

3.       Find People

4.       Look in: RRGSD

5.       Advanced tab

6.       Select email contains  {enter school abbreviation}

7.       Click Add

8.       Click Find Now

9.       Highlight names you want to add.  Again using the “shift” to select consecutive addresses or the “ctrl” for spaced addresses.

10.  Click add to address book

11.  Click ok for each entry

REPEAT for each school

  BEL                Belmont

  CO                  Central Office

  CH                  Clara Hearne

  CM                  Chaloner

  MANN            Manning

  RRHS            RR High School

  RRGSD         Any system-wide groups such as RRGSD ALL
