Student Council

Student Council members are elected by their homebase peers. The Student Council meets twice a month and sponsors the Christmas Dance. As a Student Council representative, the members bring issues from homebase to the meetings for discussion and report back to the homebase of issues, contests and happenings discussed at the meetings. Student Council sponsors projects that demonstrate the democratic process and or promote good citizenship. The Council members registered homebase members for voting and held secret ballot elections for Student Body Officers.

This year the Student Council sponsored a big drive to send items to the soldiers in Iraq who would not be home for Christmas. They also sponsored the Door Decorating contest.

Mrs. Bethanne Allen is the sponsor of the Student Council.
